Terms of use

What VehiCall is
A way for someone to reach a vehicle’s owner about that vehicle, without either person sharing a phone number. It is a tool for a specific errand — you are blocking someone in, their lights are on, there has been a scrape. It is not a social network and not a messaging service for general use.
Your account
- You must be 18 or over.
- Only add vehicles you actually own. Claiming a vehicle that is not yours is the single most serious thing you can do wrong here — it means messages intended for another person come to you.
- Keep your Google account secure; it is how you get in.
Verification
We ask for evidence before a vehicle can have a sticker. We may refuse or reverse a verification, and we may ask you to prove ownership again if someone disputes it. While a dispute is open, the vehicle’s sticker stops working for everyone — we suspend rather than hand it over, so that filing a false dispute cannot take a vehicle from you.
What you must not do
Using VehiCall to do any of the following will get you removed:
- Harass, threaten, intimidate or repeatedly contact someone who does not want to hear from you.
- Use the safety-concern reason for anything that is not a genuine emergency.
- Try to work out who someone is, or pressure them into telling you.
- Send advertising, promotions or bulk messages of any kind.
- Run scams, including fake insurance, towing, or fine-payment demands.
- Claim a vehicle that is not yours, or move a sticker onto another vehicle.
- Attempt to break, overload or probe the service.
The safety-concern reason
One reason — a child or animal in danger, a fire, a vehicle rolling — reaches an owner even if they have paused contact or set quiet hours. It is limited to two alerts per owner per day so it cannot be used to hound someone. Misusing it is treated as seriously as any other abuse, precisely because it is the one channel that cannot be switched off.
What we do about abuse
Depending on severity we may warn you, rate-limit you, suspend your ability to start conversations, require you to verify ownership again, or remove your account. You can appeal to developers_a@evenforce.com and a person will look at it.
Reporting a conversation shows its contents to a reviewer. That is the only way we can act on a report, and we say so at the moment you report.
Blocking
You can block anyone who contacts you, and end the conversation instantly. Be aware of the limit: someone contacting you by scanning your sticker has no account, so blocking ends that conversation — it cannot stop a person from scanning again. If that happens, pause or replace your sticker, and report it.
What we do not promise
- That a message will reach anyone. Owners may have notifications off, may not check, or may never have registered.
- That the service is available at all times. This is early software.
- That anyone you meet through VehiCall is who they say they are. We verify that a person controls a vehicle — nothing more. Take the same care you would with any stranger.
Emergencies
VehiCall is not an emergency service. If someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services. Use VehiCall in addition, never instead.
Ending things
Delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless doing so would compromise an investigation.
